From Edo to the present day and into the future - this film depicts the history and evolution of Tokyo, as a time-traveling airship travels through the city. The film shows the streets of Edo, modern architecture, Tokyo Tower, and other landmarks and culture one after another. The final part of the journey, which takes us to the skyscrapers of Nishi-Shinjuku, gives us a sense of hope for the future. Please enjoy the images and music that fuse ukiyoe-like visuals with modern dynamism.
