Under the theme of “FLOAT,” a projection mapping work will be shown on the west wall of the old Tokyu Toyoko Department Store’s South at the Shibuya Station’s west side, depicting “the unique character of Shibuya, which has connected various encounters with the changing seasons and an exciting future and city.

Tokyo/Shibuya is a city where people things, and events come and go all the time.
Various encounters between people and people, things and people, or events and people result in a constant metabolism, and new events are constantly being born.Tokyo/Shibuya is a time and space with “diverse options” for the future.

  • Akiko Yamashita

    Akiko Yamashita is a Los Angeles-based, Japanese artist. She is know for immersive installations using light, projection mapping, and real-time 3D animation to transform our perception with her prism-inspired full spectrum of colors. As an artist, she visualizes “invisible existences” in nature. Her work references and is drawn from Japanese animism, where every existence has a spirit or soul.

    Saeko Ehara is an artist and VJ based in Tokyo, who creates works using AI. She doesn’t limit herself to one software or expression, but continues to research various technologies, and her aim is to flood her work with exciting emotions through her productions.
