大パニックに陥る庁舎内。ゴジラは想定をはるかに超えるパワーで都庁を破壊。東京都はゴジラを迎撃するために極秘裏に開発を進めていたゴジラ迎撃用専用機「スーパーX２改」をスクランブルさせ、ゴジラ迎撃を図る…。 果たして「ゴジラ」対「スーパーX２改」の闘いのゆくえはどうなるのか…。
そして、救世主は現れるのか…。

無数のサーチライトに照らされ、空に多くのヘリコプターが飛び交う中、巨大生物が轟音とともに、都庁舎に接近する。

A giant creature approaches the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building with a roar as countless searchlight cascade over the creature and helicopters fly by.

都庁舎は一瞬で破壊され、その目の前に現れたのは「ゴジラ」だった。東京都はゴジラを迎撃するために、極秘裏に開発を進めていたゴジラ迎撃用専用機「スーパーX２改」をスクランブルさせる。

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government scrambles the "Super X2 Kai", a special weapon secretly developed to intercept Godzilla.

ゴジラの熱線を浴びながらも、レーザー光線やゴジラの熱線を跳ね返す「ファイヤーミラー」を展開し、攻撃を畳みかける。見事命中しゴジラを撃退したかと思われた瞬間、パワフルな熱線を被弾してしまう。

While being exposed to Godzilla's extreme heat ray, "Super X2 Kai" deploys its Maser ray and "Fire Mirror" which reflects Godzilla's heat ray and counters Godzilla.
Just when it seems to have successfully hit and repelled Godzilla, it is hit by Godzilla's powerful heat ray.

強烈な攻撃を受けた「スーパーX２改」はコントロール不能に。ゴジラに掴まれ絶体絶命の危機に陥ったが、一瞬の隙間をつき、なんとか無事脱出に成功する。

"Super X2 Kai" becomes uncontrollable after being exposed to Godzilla's powerfull attack.
"Super X2 Kai" falls into a desperate situation as it was caught by Godzilla, but was able to successfully escape from Godzilla's hands by striking it in the fleeting moment.

多くの協力により、都庁舎は再生した。そんな中、再びゴジラが新宿に出現。東京都はどのようにして再びゴジラに立ち向かうのか・・・？
